Opening your five comparisons…
Play a size comparison game with animals, everyday objects, vehicles, buildings and planets. Resize a target beside a fixed reference, lock in your guess, and compare it with the real dimensions.
Drag the target or use the slider. Each question labels the dimension you are estimating: height, length, diameter or wingspan. The reference stays fixed. After you submit, a dashed outline keeps your guess and green outlines reveal the answer. A range has two boundaries, and every estimate inside it earns full points.
Today’s five comparisons are the same for everyone and change at midnight UTC. Your first completed score is kept in this browser. Practice offers new five-question rounds with your most recent 20 pairs excluded. Open the archive to replay an available daily challenge.
Each comparison is worth up to 100 points. We divide the smaller of your estimate and the actual size by the larger, then multiply by 100 and round. Guessing half or twice the actual size gives 50 points. Published ranges are scored against their nearest boundary when your guess falls outside them. Sources and measurement definitions are available after every answer.
